Check your CPU fan. It sounds as if it may have slowed down or even maybe stopped altogether. Is it noisier than usual ?

I find with my CPU temp as it goes up after a period of time. I clean out the fins of the cooling unit on the CPU...and it seems to work as the temp goes down about 6 to 8 c .

You should be able to find all the specs you need here.

Maximum temp. on a 2000+ is 90 deg. so 63 deg. isn't so bad.

Says 2000+ fsb is 233? i thought mine was 133, or do they do them in 133? plus my vcore is 1.77 and that site says 1.75, would that make any difference?

Speed is clock doubled - 133MHz = 266 FSB, 166MHz = 333FSB, 200 MHz = 400FSB

Sounds like you have got an airflow problem in that although the fan is spinning it cannot get enough air to cool it down. Check to see if your fans are blowing the correct way and not fighting against each other.
hey promised the earth! Then delivered mud.
Technically it did meet the spec.

a 1% difference could simply be down to the motherboard reading being slightly off.

So changing the cpu vcore from default (1.77) to what this cpu recommended core is 1.75 wont cool it down ? to be honust i think its the s**tty retail fan, and i might need sum new thermal paste as i moved the cpu chip a while back to a new mobo.

plus or minus 0.02 of a volt is not going to affect it in the slightest. it is perfectly normal for it to be out by that amount.

If a bigger drive then almost certainly it would be adding more heat to the system - what temperature do you get when the side of the case is off? If it's less then you've simply got an airflow problem.
