AVG update

That was a biggun tonight  :o  normaly 10/20 seconds but this one was over a minute on my 56k

Probably the latest variant of MyDoom, Hook.  Norton did a biggie today as well.  :D

I had two AVG updates yesterday and two today - so maybe your big one was a bundle of all four.  ;)

I too noticed it was bigger today.  :baad:

Seriously though, since the modification to the program, updates are now about 75KB, instead of the 3MB complete replacements we used  to get.  They were a deterrent to 56K dial-up users, as they could  sometimes take twenty minutes to download, depending on traffic.  I only updated mine once a week in those days, but now I do it every day.

BT have finally allowed me access to my account so I can get 128k  8)
