Nope..no more, the hassel it is on sending a return is not so bloody easy.

log in

go to returns

Apply for an RMA #

explain the problem

send mail

await for conformation e mail

receive e mail

The "managemnt" will decide in 2 working days..to see if your claim is genuine

receive second e mail saying yes.

another 2 e mails later with RMA #

comfirm that you have read the return agreement

1 more e mail later, giving me a time that the parcel will be picked up...3rd time lucky yeah right  >:(

This is my one bugbear with buying stuff online.  It's always a hassle when something is faulty and you have to return it.  I bought a hard drive online, which turned out to be faulty, but they would not take my word for it and send a replacement.  I had to buy another one, and wait three weeks for them to decide the original was faulty, after which they refunded me.  Not quite as easy as slinging it back over the counter at PC World.

I found one in Dixons.  Asked him if the Freeview box I was considering buying had a timer facility, and ended up having to explain what a timer facility is!  Then he has the cheek to ask me why I wanted one anyway!

Dear Sir/Madam

Consignment No   : ********
Date/Time        : Friday 5th Mar between 09:00 and 17:00

A collection has now been arranged for a day and time you have specified, under the above reference
number.

Please ensure that the item/s are packaged and ready for collection, a delay may result in the
collection driver leaving the premises without the goods. If this happens then we cannot arrange
any further collections and the goods will have to be returned by yourself at your cost.
Please bear in mind that if the item is tested and found to be NOT faulty then the collection
charge will be applied to yourself and charged to your credit/debit card. Please do not write

That would bloody annoy me.  OK so it's the result you wanted, but not even an apology?  I would have expected something a bit more personal than an auto-generated mail, after all the hassle you've had.   >:(
