 DOES A7N266VM ASUS MOTHERBOARD IS INTEGRATED WITH AC'97 codec 5.1 audio(DOLBY)?IF YES,THEN IS IT BETTER THAN CREATIVE LIVE VALUE !
 DOES THIS CONFIG. GIVES ME A DREAM PC?IF YOU HAVE ANY MORE SUGGETIONS PLEASE REPLY IT TO ME.THANK YOU........

WHETHER Samsung DVD+CD-RW DRIVE IS WORTH ENOUGH THAN SEPERATE DVD AND CD-RW DRIVES.

That question depends upon what you want to use your system for ... if you want the ability to copy from a CD to another CD, then I would go for seperate drives ... the "combo" is ideal for saving space, but means you have to save files to your hard drive before copying to CD

A "combo" also has the ability to free up an IDE channel, if you need them for other things like extra hard drives.

Didnt realise ac97 came with 5.1 if it does then it will probably be on a par with live 5.1. There is a live value that doesnt come with 5.1 though so make sure.

Ac97 isnt rated by most people however its on my laptop and i occasionaly stream radio from it with no problems.. the listenners have never yet noticed any diff as for playback my AC97 is compatable with dolby headphones and sounds great used like that.

Nowt wrong with combo drives either... unless your planning on doing pirates on a massive scale i would suggest going to the HD first anyway.. the speed of the drive will make up for any pre burning to the HD.
