Glad its sorted BB,maybe it was just one of those weird things like my router had and just needed some TLC  ;D ;D ;D

By the way where did you manage to get a 20 gig hard drive from ? The smallest I could get before Xmas was a 40 gig one,unless I paid more money for it than the 40 gig one :o

It isnt a new drive. I bought it last Xmas i think it was and it cost £95 quid! Shows how prices have fallen.

One final question. With the 80GB 7200 drive and the 20GB 5400rpm drive on the same IDE cable, will i get any slowdown?  :)

As long as the boot drive is the 7200 I think you will be ok as that would have been noticeable already with a longer boot time than you had had recently.Its things running on mixed FSB speeds that run at the lower speed as far as I know although I stand to be corrected  :-*
