Topic: Sound Bar

I've just installed a Hisense soundbar recommended by ComputerActive.  The cost was a mere £79 and I have to say it's a gamechanger.  Your TV really has to have an HDMI ARC socket otherwise you will have to connect by bluetooth or optical.  I'm quite taken aback by the quality and sound separation.

I've often looked at them, as a possible space saving exercise, but my current TV has quite a wide pedestal, so there wouldn't be room for a soundbar underneath the screen, and it's pointless having it anywhere else.  When I eventually buy a new TV, I would look at one with the sound built into the screen, as they're supposed to be quite good.  Nothing beats a proper home cinema audio system though, so I don't think I will be giving mine up for a while yet.
